Car upholstery cleaning is a specialist service that requires precision and the right techniques and products to clean a vehicle's interior effectively, while protecting its electronic components and additional equipment such as airbags and sensors. Regular professional cleaning can extend the life of car upholstery, keeping its look and condition intact for longer.

IMS GRUPA offers a full range of car upholstery cleaning services that refresh a vehicle's interior and ensure cleanliness and hygiene.

How car upholstery cleaning works

Before starting the cleaning, our specialists carry out a detailed assessment of the upholstery's condition, taking into account the type of material (leather, suede, etc.), the level of soiling, and the presence of electronic components. This assessment determines the scope of work and the choice of methods and cleaning products. Sensitive areas are protected or avoided to keep electronic systems and other delicate components safe.

Thorough vacuuming of the vehicle's interior removes loose dirt, dust and other dry debris from the upholstery and hard-to-reach areas. At IMS GRUPA we rely on high-quality cleaning and washing products, matched to the type of upholstery. These products are applied in a way that minimises the risk of damage to electronic components.

Specialised upholstery-washing equipment removes dirt effectively while minimising the risk of soaking the material. Methods such as extraction cleaning and steam cleaning are widely used to disinfect the upholstery thoroughly and also allow the material to dry quickly. For more delicate elements or hard-to-reach spots, additional hand cleaning with brushes and microfibre cloths may be used to ensure a thorough result.
